PORTFOLIOS > EROTICA: FROM THE OUTSIDE IN (works from 2002-2009)

I hadn't seen Kyrs in years - he had moved to San Francisco and I thought I had lost him forever. I had shot him when I was 18, before I had any sense of what my style was. When he moved back to Los Angeles I asked if I could shoot him and his lover for an erotica book I was working on. When I arrived to his small apartment in Hollywood he allowed me into a portal that felt very much like photographing a wild animal.
I named this particular piece "Seduction" because it both reminds me of the wild animal quality he holds and the energy a person radiates when you can't help but be drawn to someone.
